Taking my first yoga class in 2001 began my self-discovery journey. My practice allows me to feel more present to my fullest potential in each moment, as life changes and shifts. It led me to take teacher training through YogaFit, and I currently hold a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (2020) certification. When I teach, I enjoy observing the transformative power yoga provides for my students from their mat to everyday life. My focus during class is assisting students in cultivating gratitude for exactly who they are in the present moment as well as supporting their path, their journey of self-discovery.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist and CranioSacral Therapist (2005), I am fascinated with spinal movement and function, as well as the healing power of touch. My specialties include Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy, Acupressure, Shiatsu, & Reiki. With experience in Chinese Medicine Techniques, like cupping & gua sha, as well as rehab massage, I believe in leveraging multiple modalities to facilitate healing and bring my clients meaningful, lasting results.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, creating recycled jewelry, volunteering, and exploring philanthropic work. I spent nearly three years in Swaziland Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer and worked with my community on issues related to health and wellness, leadership enhancement, and community development. I attribute my experiences in Swaziland to really starting my spiritual journey.
