Therapeutic bodywork in Roscoe Village & Rogers Park
Almost two decades of experience have taught me that I am a facilitator– a means by which you learn to heal yourself, supporting holistic, total body wellness
I believe in drawing on a variety of bodywork techniques to aid my clients in their healing process. In addition to traditional massage techniques, combining several modalities increases the body's response time, and the effects of the treatment last longer. I incorporate the following techniques into my sessions:
-
Restores the integrity of the central nervous system by bringing it back to balance, and nurturing the body's ability to heal itself. A session may include Myofascial Release, Acupressure, as well at balancing & breath work.
-
Based in Tibetan & Japanese energy medicine, it’s a technique for supporting the body’s natural healing ability to gently remove congestion and reduce stress. I like to think of Reiki as spring cleaning the body & replacing stagnation with peace of mind & joy
-
Both are based in Eastern Medicine and increase micro-perfusion and local circulation on surface of fascia & muscles, easing tissue adhesions that contribute to muscle tension and pain.
-
Applies gentle sustained pressure into connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore movement. It is some of the deepest bodywork a person can receive.
-
A Japanese form of bodywork using pressure points, stretching and joint rotation for structural and postural issues, stress relief and overall wellness.
I offer bodywork out of my apartment in Rogers Park for clients I know or those referred by current clients.
Additionally, I offer restorative bodywork at Healing Foundations in Chicago's Roscoe Village neighborhood.
